I lovee the breeze you get with a storm. There's one kissing me through the window right now.

I was sick all weekend, and monday too, so instead of going places I would have otherwise (sorry!), I watched DVD's in my room, namely all 13 episodes of The Wire, after which I had trouble restraining myself from speaking like some black guy from the projects of west Baltimore. After that I played a bunch of Freedom Force VS the 3rd Reich, after which I had no trouble avoiding speaking like a bombastic 4 colour super-hero. Weird that. This game, though, it's even cheesier than the first. That's cheesy.

Here are some quotes from both of the above:

*"...but you can't stand a bad headline, can you? You'd rather live in shit than be seen holding a shovel. Sir."

*"...and the ticker of it is, these blokes from the future all have absolutely wonking powers..."

You can probably figure out which is which.

I've been messing around with the character settings. I wonder if it would break the game to have a 6 story tall fire breathing Dinosaur on my supers team? Only one way to find out....

This is irrelevant, but...

Now I'm finished uni I finally got a chance to start Fables. I love it! Everyone who predicted I'd like it was right. I'm only partway through the first volume.

Isn't it gorgeous? I knew what I was getting you for your birthday the minute I started reading it :)

I love that stormy wind, but everything smells better too. The whole world turns fresh and wild and it makes me wander around with a stupid grin on my face when everyone else is trying to hide theirs' from the weather. One of the best things Billy Connolly's ever said was "There's no such thing as bad weather - only the wrong clothes!"

That's almost as good as the one about the tea-cosy.
