Erm.

I worked a tiny bit on a story. I read some Don Delillo. I had an okay day at work. I like the weather this way. I got home and sat on the couch and watched the simpsons to unwind a little. I got up. My vision shrunk, and disappeared. I stopped existing. I pulled myself back into existence, swimming through t.v. sounds that were fractured stretched and distorted. I was sitting on the couch again. My hand hurt like I'd banged it against something, but I couldn't remember doing so. Andrew was looking at me in a worried fashion. I asked him what had just happened.

I had passed out, for no apparent reason. It's probably nothing to worry about, and just the result of a sudden drop in blood pressure as I stood up, but I've never passed out before, so it did worry me some.

Whoa. Probably nothing to worry about, but they have doctors who can make sure. Perhaps time to avail oneself of this country's fine public health care system?

I'll be dropping in on Dr Lee tomorrow just to be sure.

Hooray! And I should probably go about my tumour and my leukaemia. Plus, my glands hurt. :(

If it's not too late for that! If I'm lucky, they'll attach wheels where my back legs used to be so I can still drag myself around.

Shhhh! If you let everyone know your superheroine origin story, you'll never sell enough issues to continue.

{hugs}

It's probably nothing to worry about; I've had it happen a couple of times and when I had tests done it was fine.

But do get yourself checked out.

Hope it's nothing serious, though it's upsetting to have it happen, especially when you've never passed out before, it's like that thing I had happen to me a few months back.

Yep, off to the doctor for you, boyo.

(Imagined diagnoses are far scarier than real ones) {As [livejournal.com profile] whirlygig so capably demonstrates}

The same thing's happened to me about three times (usually just a hot day, or getting over a bad cold). One time I broke my nose on the wall. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.

It freaked me out. Then I spent the next 20 minutes hovering around to make sure Chris was alright. Then everything was right with the household.

(Except all our clocks had been set forward two hours, but that's nothing to worry about right?)
