Andrew cleaned the house! I went out and came back, and then it was clean! Hurrah!
Costume parties: whenever anyone even suggests such a thing, I'm always the first to shout hurrah. I shall dress up fancily, I think to myself and be the centre of attention. But then all of a sudden it's the day before the party, and despite racking my brains for weeks previous, brilliant costume ideas perfectly articulating the theme of the party still seem thin on the ground.
Villains see, there's a problem. Most of my favourite villains seem to be either excessively clean cut, or more often, witches. And hence unlike me. And all my favourite cannibals seem to have no distinguishing features (What? I'm on a cannibal kick...). I mean, there's options, I have ideas, there's just none that make me go wow (apart from Chairface Chippendale, but that would get uncomfortable pretty darn quick). I'll no doubt pull something out of my arse. Still figuratively, I'm just worried that thing might be shit.
I do get to see all sorts of pretty people in costumes though, so that's okay.

The album thing is not exactly running to schedule. I should have six songs done already, and seven by tomorrow. Currently I have:
1. The day I lost my innocence to a black '99 stratocaster
2. Bloodsucker Blues
3. Rocket Man (not finished)
4. Don't know why (finished, but lyrically questionable)
5. An as yet untitled song mostly about love, but also about how people who espouse intelligent design theory should be hit in the face very hard with hammers (unfinished, but getting there).
6. Some song that seems to be from the pov of a prostitute, I don't know, it was late. Trying to use different dramatic devices than Tom Waits used in his song of the same subject, so as not to be derivative, but it's going nowhere. I might give up on it.
So 3, then. Meep. One of which I like.
