Oh! Hello there. Welcome back to my livejournal. I've been away for a while - cyberlogically challenged, if you will - but am now back online and ready to once again bring you the unsteady schedule of lies, infotainment, angst, stories, procrastination and associated bimbadgery to which you will no doubt grow accustomed. And of course I now have access to all manner of delicious internet delicacies. Mmmm, information. I shall roll around and smear myself in it.
Firstly, if you haven't heard this, for the love of all that is sacred, download it immediately! It's guaranteed to increase your awesome quotient by a factor of four!
(That's an mp3. Right click and select "save link as".)
A detailed account of the previous few months of my life is probably more than I could be bothered with or you to read, but just quickly:
*My relatives in London are okay. Unlike hundreds of other innocent people. Damn.
*Various parties were good, including my own.
*Am avoiding sick folk at work.
*Saw movies, did roleplaying, read a bunch of books. Details pending.
*Mmm, Firefly. Again.
*Tree outside our house got chopped down. It used to look like this:

...if you were lying underneath basking in its shade. Now it looks like a void affording a better view of Liverpool Rd and the skidmarks on our neighbour's undies. And we need that, don't we? Can't stand in the way of progress.
Ooh, and happy news people won't have heard. I recently got an email from gothic.net as regards a story I submitted about a year ago. They've finally read it, and didn't reject it outright! This doesn't mean that it will be published, but it has been moved from off the slush pile and onto the for-editorial-consideration pile. Which means I'm one step closer to being paid money for some writing! Woot!
