It's friday, now for the week in review. Dit, ddit dit ditit.....

I partied with villains on Saturday. This was great fun. I was of course also a villain in this, in the guise of Alexander Pierce, which meant I had to explain to everyone who Alexander Pierce was, but that's half the fun. (photo?) Also, costumes with bloodspatters always seem to equal win for me. The breadth of villainy, and costumery on display was impressive, but has been amply documented elsewhere. Suffice to say an deliciously evil time was had by all.

The next night, I went to see Totally Gourdgeous with [livejournal.com profile] boojumlol, [livejournal.com profile] bezique and [livejournal.com profile] madradish, whom I had only met the night previous, but apparently is local to me, so there you go. The band were hilarious and entertaining.

Outcome: I have a new magical musical gourd!

I shall add it to my collection.
(Also featured in that photo: my pants)

Tomorrow morning I take my youngest brother to two-fiddy for clothes. He's playing the Annandale again, and wants to look cool.

Beyond that, I'm sort of questioning the wisdom of continuing to do stuff socially when I'm this behind on my project. But then, it's hard to refuse things when all my deadlines are just self-imposed. Hmm. I would like to go out Saturday night....

I went to the doctor today, re: the thing I posted about previous. Thank you all for your concern on that, btw. And mad props to Andrew, who is the bestest housemate ever.

I'm generally not that keen on going to the doctors. It's not that I find it particularly unpleasant, it's just that I always feel like I'm being a hypochondriac. I mean, when I think of all the times I've been to a GP, I have actually needed one precisely once, when I had tonsilitis (I'm not counting needing med certificates). Bah.

This time was at least interesting. I had electrodes attached to me! With conductive gel! And suction cups! My torso looked amusingly like it had been attacked by an octopus.

End result: My health is entirely normal. Which is boring from a narrative standpoint, but otherwise the best possible outcome. Cool.

Seeing as I'm doing these today, here's a pic:
