*Is a big Geek*
Apr. 26th, 2005 02:59 pmI'm sick at home with a cold, and I should probably be using the time to read Ex-Libris for book club, or do my writing assignment for next week.
But y'see, your honour, yesterday I downloaded AGS, and the idea of making an adventure game has got me all excited. I've got to grips with the basics of the program, so the main thing I have to work on now is a) design and b)graphics. Ideally I need a tablet. I have: Pen, Paper, and a digital camera. Which is better than you'd expect for most things, but a pain for making animated sprites. Now I'm looking to download some doody animation program.

On Saturday I breathed a sigh of relief that the school holidays were over, and I played computer games to relax. Then a friend of mine rang up and asked if I'd like to come to his place and play computer games, which I did. Also: My plans to enter the Sydney Uni band comp with Lou were foiled by my own tardiness. Curses!
On Sunday I saw Crash with Tull (I recommend it) and afterwards we played basketball, which was heaps fun. Fun enough for me to think that maybe some sort of regular exercise on my part would be the go, rather than only when I'm late for the train. Then I went home and didn't roleplay. What's up with that?
The following things that I've been to lazy to post about met with my approval: Cockatoo Island; Brewhaha; Nick's Birthday; Bez's Birthday; other stuff I forgot.
Soon (in exactly a week, now that I think of it) it will be my Birthday, and I'll be 25. Twenty five. One quarter of a century. I think I was expecting to have more done by this point. But then I always was a last-minute person.
Anyway, some sort of party is no doubt in order, lest more time pass and I grow crotchety and tell you kids to turn down that damn racket. The 21st of May seems free, so I think I'll go with that. If you're reading this, then you'll most likely be invited, so let me know if a whole bunch of you have pressing other engagements.
