F.Y.I.

1. I broke up with Georgia, in January.
2. Yes, we are still friends.
3. I'm fine, but thanks for your concern. I appreciate it.

Bits of stuff, just sorta floatin around...

Gosh, I don't know, it's been an awful long time since my last big post, and you'd think I'd have more to say. I'm sure a lot of important stuff has happened (the big one I've already posted about), but I'm finding it hard to recap it all.

Tuesday, Tully's hair was dyed blonde, and I got to shave it down to a #7. I'm a hairdresser! *manic grin*.

I'm thinking about dying my hair...

In January I jammed with Louise and Chris and fuck it was fun. Louise is a really good drummer - she can do whatever a song needs. So all I need to do now is write some better songs. Also, I should get a microphone stand.

I bought 69 Love Songs, by The Magnetic Fields. It's everything the title says. I'm finding it pretty inspiring in terms of its sheer volume of good songwriting. And I haven't even gotten up to the third CD yet.

Chris sent me a postcard from Beijing. He danced like a muppet in Tiannamen Square.

I started trying to write a pulp serial. It doesn't seem any easier than writing something non-pulpy.

I'm getting very annoyed at our property agent. It's been over a month now since we've had a working cold tap in our bathroom sink, and there's several other problems, including one that's likely to cause water damage. I've hassled him several times, and he said it would be taken care of, but nothings happened. I've been letting it slide lately, but I think it might be getting to letter writing time.

I have the following things in my house, that don't belong to me:
Justin's CDs, except for the Eno one, that never even made it to my house (Tom and Julia, if you see an CD cover with references to watersports can you let me know?)
Dan's copy of The System of the World (which was cool, btw),
Rashmi's Invisibles
A Red button that mysteriously appeared in my pocket at the Dresden Dolls gig. Mystery!

Tommorrow: Mardi Gras
Monday: Book Club!

Much later: The Cockatoo Island Festival. Woot!
