So the plan is to start writing a book this month. I had two main ideas I was kicking around, and I have gone with the more difficult option, the one concerned with form and genre. It might be too difficult to keep up a nanowrimo like pace on it and have it work, but I intend to try. Writing in earnest will hopefully begin on Wednesday. I have spent this afternoon making plans and charts and theories.

So my LJ question today: What is your favourite literary genre and why? And what is your favourite trashy lit genre, if the answer is different?
